Marcel Jörg and Damian Aebischer take on new leadership roles at Packimpex

Ernst Jörg steps down as Chairman and Marcel Jörg fills his position; Damian Aebischer appointed Packimpex CEOAfter 41 successful years, Ernst Jörg has chosen to step down as Chairman of Packimpex at the upcoming General Assembly. Ernst will continue to be involved in the company as a board member and as Packimpex Academy trainer. His passion for using role-playing and real-life examples in his workshops are well-known in the industry, and he is never short of ideas that present new challenges to stretch even the most experienced professional.

Marcel Jörg is stepping down as CEO of Packimpex as he assumes the role of Chairman, supporting a network of key customers, partners and other stakeholders. Additionally, Marcel will assume a senior role on the Management Team of Gosselin Mobility (UK) Ltd., which is the parent company of Packimpex Moving Ltd.

Damian Aebischer has been appointed CEO of Packimpex. For the last decade, Damian has been a member of the Executive Management and has filled different functions from CFO to COO. He will be able to draw on his experience and the continued support of the management team to ensure the company is fully focused on delivering innovative and sustainable solutions to address the current and future needs of our client base. Damian was born and raised on the language border in Fribourg, Switzerland and is fluent in German, French and English. Prior to joining Packimpex, Damian worked in the consulting industry for several years. He holds a Master’s Degree in Management & Finance and an Executive MBA and is currently completing a postgraduate program in Digital Business Development.
